Waltzing Matilda Aviation to launch new airline to connect Boston with Toronto

Waltzing Matilda Aviation has explained the route strategy behind the launch of its new airline, based on the belief that Toronto’s Billy Bishop is a much more convenient airport for point-to-point travellers flying to the city, rather than Pearson (which is 20km from downtown Toronto). CEO, John Thomas, believes that there is a strong market that will appreciate the airline’s business offering. Connect Airlines will initially target US business travellers, who need to day trip to Toronto for business, but Thomas also believes that there will be potential to target leisure travellers as well.
