Air Burkina is the national airline of Burkina Faso.
The airline operates scheduled services to one domestic destination, Bobo-Dioulasso, as well as offering regional services to Togo, Benin, Mali, Niger, Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal and Ghana.
It is majority owned by an AKFED/IPS consortium and operates from its main base at Ouagadougou Airport. AKFED also control airlines Air Mali, Meridiana and Air Uganda. The airline serves West Africa from its hub airport Ouagadougou.

Passengers may take one item of cabin luggage weighing up to 10 kg.
The airline offers a generous checked luggage allowance of 30kg in Economy, 50kg in Business Class and 10kg for Baby.
It operates three types of frequent flyer card: Definitive Ivory Card, Celestars Silver and Celestars Gold. It is important to also provide your membership number when booking your flight and checking in.
Passengers travelling between Ouagadougou and Abidjan in economy class are permitted 40kg of checked luggage, and business class are allowed 50kg checked luggage.

Ouagadougou Airport is an airport in the centre of the city of Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso. It was built in the 1960s and it is approximately 1.5 km southeast of the main commercial area. Ouagadougou has since experienced rapid urbanization and the airport is now surrounded by urban development.
