Equair is a new domestic airline based at Mariscal Sucre International Airport (UIO) in Ecuador. They're looking to commence operations in December 2021 with a fleet of Boing 737 NG, serving domestic routes.

Equair will be serving the domestic Ecuador destinations. It's known that the airline will be operating between Quito (UIO) and Guayaquil (GYE). According to local media, they will also fly to Baltra (GPS) and San Cristobal (SCY).
Equair hasn't released their baggage allowance. More information will follow closer to the airline launch date.
All carry-on items are subjected to airport security checks before boarding the aircraft. Prohibited items including any fluid exceeding 100ml will be confiscated by security.
Your carry-on items must fit within the overhead bins and over the seat. If it's over the size limit and/or over-weight, the item would have to be transported as checked baggage.
As a general rule, the airline won't accept any baggage exceeding 32kg (70lbs) due to international health and safety regulations. Any excess/oversized checked baggage would be charged by the airline too.

Equair will be operating with a fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-700 aircraft. These are narrowbody aircraft designed to operate short to medium-haul flights with a capacity between 126-149 seats.

The airport is currently serving as the hub for Avianca Ecuador and LATAM Ecuador. On average, there're around 5 million passengers that use the airport facilities every year.
