Baggage Policy

Baggage allowance will depend on the ticket fare you purchased at the time of booking.

Carry-on Baggage

The carry-on baggage allowance for Economy Class passengers is one piece of carry-on baggage with a maximum weight of 7kg / 15lbs. The carry-on baggage allowance for Business Class and Economy Class passengers is two pieces of carry-on baggage weighing no more than 7kg / 15lbs each.

Checked Baggage

Economy Class passengers are allowed two pieces of baggage with a combined weight of 30kg / 66lbs. Business Class and First Class passengers are permitted two pieces of checked baggage with a combined weight of no more than 50kg / 110lbs. Each item must not exceed 158 linear cm. No single baggage should weigh more than 32kg / 70lbs.

Oman Air officially has 3 cabin classes. - Economy, Business and First Class.

Economy Class

Economy Class has been revamped with a brand new look of bold colours and modern upholstery. Feel like you are part of the Oman scenery as the design is influenced by the sunset and sea colours of Oman.

Economy Class Facilities

Included in the Economy Class are 10.6-inch individual TV screens supported with an ARIA entertainment system. This offers a wide range of the latest movies, games and TV shows. In addition to this, the airline offers WiFi connectivity, a USB port and two power ports to help charge your devices. A wide range of meals is included with the tastes of the destinations that passengers are flying to. Amenity kits are provided with inspiring prints of Oman architecture and delights.

What are Economy Class Seats Like?

Standard seats are free in Economy Class. Choosing seats or being in the Exit Row or Front Row comes with a small fee. Choice seats are free in Freedom Economy.

Business Class

With Oman Air's award-winning Business Class service you'll feel the luxury from the moment you step into the airport until the second you touch down at your destination.

Business Class Facilities

You won't be bored on your Oman Air flight as each seat has a 17inch personal monitor so that you can enjoy their award-winning selection of entertainment services.

What are Business Class Seats Like?

Business Class seats convert into a 180-degree 77.5-inch fully-flat bed. Each with electronically controlled leg and backrests, you'll find the position where you feel the most comfortable in your seat. Each seat has a separate cocktail table, so you have enough room to eat, read and work. You won't need to worry about your devices running out of battery with two USB ports built into your seat. Business Class guests onboard Oman Air flights can enjoy unisex Amouage kits including body lotion, facial moisturiser and lip balm.

First Class

An unmatched level of luxury is offered to premium class guests including lie-flat seats, direct aisle access and a la carte dining for every guest in First Class.

First Class Facilities

Relax in the exclusive Arrival and Departure lounges at Muscat International Airport. Throughout the flight, a wide-ranging menu of both modern and traditional fine dining and Arabic signature dishes will be served at your convenience.

What are First Class Seats Like?

With just six seats within the First Class cabin, together with a luxurious lounge area, the guest experience is akin to flying in an exclusive private jet. The First Class Mini-Suite offers the longest lie-flat seat available on any commercial airliner and is set within a massive 87-inch pitch. Furthermore, with a 25.5-inch wide seat, an eight-point massage system built in, stowage for hand luggage, dedicated space to hang a coat and a huge 23-inch video monitor, Oman Air’s First Class Mini-Suite is in a class of its own.

Passengers travelling in First Class will enjoy a menu inspired by Omani, Arabic and International cuisine. Passengers can order from the a la carte menu at any time during their flight that best suits them.

Business class passengers can also enjoy a la carte cuisine inspired by a range of cultures. The meals will be served in bespoke dinnerware.

Business class passengers will be served a wide range of tasty dishes, inspired by the region they are travelling to.
