Air Timor is an airline in East Timor that provides regularly scheduled services from Dili to Singapore and Dili to Bali under separate charter arrangements. Air Timor charters a SilkAir Airbus A310 for the Singapore-Dili route, and one Boeing 737-500 operated by Garuda Indonesia for the Denpasar-Dili route.

Air Timor ended services to Denpasar in January 2017.

At the moment, Air Timor is 1 of 2 airlines flying scheduled flights from East Timor. The other is Aero Dili.

Destinations

Air Timor currently only flies to 3 destinations - Dili, Kupang and Singapore. It flies to the following airports:

  • Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport in Dili, East Timor
  • El Tari International Airport in Kupang, Indonesia
  • Changi Airport in Singapore

Baggage Policy

Passengers are permitted carry-on and checked baggage on flights with Air Timor, however, there are baggage policies put in place regarding the weight and size of your baggage.

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers in economy are permitted 1 piece of cabin baggage, weighing a maximum of 7kg.

Passengers in business are permitted 2 x 7kg for their cabin baggage.

Each item must fit within the combined dimensions (length + breadth + width) of 115cm.

Checked Baggage

Passengers in Business class are permitted 40kg of checked luggage. Passengers in Economy Class are permitted 30kg of checked luggage.

Cabin Classes

There are 2 cabin classes that Air Timor offers - Economy and Business. Each class has its own facilities and services that are offered in-flight.

Economy Class

Passengers in Economy can expect a pleasurable flight with a comfortable seat allowing them to relax. Service on board is great, with passengers having everything they need on board. Included in the ticket is a generous baggage allowance, detailed above in the ‘Baggage’ section.

Economy Class Seats

Seats are spacious and comfortable, meaning you can sleep and relax, arriving to your destination in comfort.

Business Class

Business Class will likely include priority baggage handling, additional baggage, and extra earning miles on the airline's frequent flyer program.

Check-In

With Air Timor flights, you'll need to check in at the airport as online check-in is not yet available.

Airport Check-in

When departing from Dili airport (Nicolau Lobato International Airport), passengers should arrive at the airport 2 hours before their flight to allow sufficient time to check-in. The check-in counter MI295 is open 12pm-2pm local time.

For passengers departing Changi International Airport, Singapore, they should check in at counters 9 or 10, row 2 at Terminal 2 for MI 296 between the opening hours of 7am-8.45am.

For Eltari Kupang International Airport, Kupang, the check in counters are open fr 8B 118 between 9am-11am.

Online Check-in

Air Timor do not currently have the facility to offer online check-in for their flights.

Dili Airport, otherwise known officially as Presidente Nicolau Lobato International Airport, is an international airport based in Dili, East Timor. The airport was formerly Comoro Airport but was renamed after an East Timorese politician and national hero.

A handful of airlines fly to and from this airport, including Airnorth, Air Timor, Batik Air, Citilink, Qantas and Sriwijaya Air.
