Fly91 are hoping to launch in September 2023. They intend to operate as a regional carrier, with flights ranging from 45-90 minutes, which will follow the most underserved routes within India at an accessible and affordable price. They will offer flights from India's regional airports where 30% of the countries domestic passengers originate. Flight routes will focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities of India.
Due to Fly91 still being in their start-up phase, its luggage policy has not yet been released. There is a possibility that your ticket will come with one free piece of cabin luggage, which will consist of either a personal item, a cabin case, or the airline might allow you to bring extra. Until the airline completes their business operations and policies, not many details will be made public.
The airline's checked luggage regulations have not yet been made public. As the airline does not plan to run long-haul international flights, it is unlikely that your ticket will include a checked bag. This information is not going to be made public until the airline has started operating.
It is unknown what cabin services will be offered or whether the airline will be premium-only or dual-class at this time due to the lack of information currently avaliable. However, it is very possible that Fly91 will offer an economy class service on board their aircraft. The level of service for this is not yet known.
Also unknown is whether the airline will equip its aircrafts with a business or premium cabin. Nearer the airline's launch, more details on the class type and service levels will be made avaliable.
Fly91 is yet to release a functioning website, which means there is a lack of information about its planned online check-in options at this time.
Regarding recommended check-in times, the airline has not yet released a statement. As advised departure hours can vary by airport, we suggest contacting your departure airport in advance.
As Fly91 are intending to do short-haul regional flights, it's likely that these flights will not feature in-flight entertainment systems. The possibility of Fly91 implementing WiFi onto their airline's fleet is not yet known, but will be made apparent closer to the airline's launch.
The airline has not yet announced the food and beverage options it will offer. The airline has hinted that they will run a cost-effective operation, which involves features like buy-on-board products.
Whether Fly91 will offer a frequent flyer club is not currently known as the airline is still in their start-up phase. More details around this will be shared once the airline has begun operation, which is expected to be around September 2023.
