Danish Air Transport (DAT) has flights on a number of unconnected routes with the common factor being that they are within the range of their turboprop aircraft. Specifically, Danish Air Transport operates flights to Bergen and Oslo from Floro in Norway; Esberg and Billund from Stavanger and Bornholm from Copenhagen and regional flights in Denmark.
Danish Air Transport was founded and started operations in 1989 initially as a cargo airline. Dat also has a virtual airline, Stordflyet. This airline operates flights but under different branding.

Economy Class Facilities
Snacks and beverages available. There is no in-flight entertainment system (televisions) but the fold down trays mean you can comfortably watch your laptop.
On longer flights, passengers can enjoy a warm meal onboard and keep entertained with DAT's in-flight magazines and Duty-free catalogues both in available in English and Danish. For more comfort amenities such as blankets and pillows are offered on the flight.
What are Economy Seats Like?
Enjoy comfortable and spacious seating with a good amount of legroom. The team will be on-hand to help.
Hand luggage is included in the ticket, free of charge. This item must not exceed 50 x 40 x 25cm and must have a maximum weight of 8kg.
The amount of checked luggage that is permitted on DAT airline flights is indicated on your ticket as it depends what fare has been purchased. Baggage which goes over the allocated allowance will be charged as excess baggage.
DAT offers online check-in for their flights. This service is available 30 hours before departure but is not available for departures from Palermo, Catania and Lampedusa.
Passengers who have not checked in online for their DAT airlines flights must do so at the airport.

Billund Airport is an airport located in Southern Denmark. It is one of Denmark’s busiest air cargo centres, but also have some regular passenger airlines which operate there. It is the hub for DAT Air and Sun-Air, but operated services for airlines such as Ryanair, Scandinavian Airlines, Great Dane Airlines and Wizz Air.
