Located around 10 km west of central Phnom Penh, it handles both domestic and international flights and is set to be replaced by the brand-new Techo International Airport (KTI) in the near future.
Air Cambodia operates a small but expanding fleet, built to handle both short domestic hops and key international routes. Here's a breakdown of the aircraft currently in service:
Air Cambodia plans to grow its fleet to 33 aircraft by 2032, with a strong focus on expanding turboprop services to boost domestic and ASEAN connectivity.
January 2025
Cambodia’s national carrier officially rebranded to Air Cambodia on 1 January 2025. The new name reflects its shift toward becoming a modern regional airline, with updated aircraft, expanded domestic routes and a focus on short-haul travel across Asia.
May 2025
Air Cambodia took delivery of its first brand-new ATR 72‑600 turboprop in May 2025, leased through Henan Civil Aviation. The aircraft, registered as XU‑610, is part of a wider plan to grow the fleet and improve domestic connectivity.
Coming soon
The airline’s main hub at Phnom Penh International Airport will soon shift to the new Techo International Airport (KTI). Once fully operational, Techo is expected to handle more passengers, bigger aircraft and offer upgraded facilities.
