On international flights, a reduced children’s fare applies (for children between 2 and 12). To ensure you are seated with your child, it is always better to select them when you book your flight.
When checking-in, those with children under 6 can head to the Family Check-in counter (available at Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) and for domestic or international flights from Montreal-Trudeau (YUL) and Vancouver International Airport) - kids can also pick up a special fee luggage tag. One stroller for each child can be checked in for free, plus applicable baggage allowance.
Babies (7 days-2 years)
Infants are below the age of 2. Within Canada, infants can sit on an adults lap for no charge; within the US, only taxes apply; on international flights, the fare is 10% that of an adult’s ticket. If a seat for the infant is preferred, children’s fares apply (see above).
