China Southern Airlines, Chongqing Municipal Development & Investment Company and Xiamen Airlines are the joint owners of the airline. Carry-on Baggage

All passengers onboard Chongqing Airlines' flights are entitled to one carry-on baggage that does not exceed 5kg and the sum of length, width and heights are smaller or equal to 115cm (45 inches).

Passengers travelling with an infant onboard a Chongqing Airlines flight are allowed to bring one additional baggage weighing less than or equal to 10kg. A folding stroller is also permitted for each infant.

First Class

Passengers flying in Business Class on domestic Chongqing Airlines flights are given 30kg of checked baggage in their free baggage allowance.

Check-in for Chongqing Airlines can be done either online or at the airport via check-in desks.

Online Check-in

Passengers can check-in for their Chongqing Airlines flight by visiting the Chongqing Airlines online check-in page. Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport

Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport (Chinese: 重庆江北国际机场) is located in the Yubei District of Chongqing, People's Republic of China. The airport is located 20 kilometres (12 miles) north of the city centre of Chongqing, the airport is a major aviation hub for airlines in western China with three operating runways.

The airport has two terminals (Terminal 2, 3): Terminal 2 serving domestic flights, and Terminal 3 with halls serving international flights. Annually, the domestic terminal handles up to 15 million passengers and the international terminal can handle more than 45 million passengers annually. New terminal construction is also underway as the existing passenger terminals are forecasted to reach it’s maximum capacity soon.

In 2014, Chongqing Airport was the ninth busiest airport by traffic movements and the twelfth busiest airport by cargo traffic in China. Other airlines that fly to the airport include AirAsia and Longjiang Airlines.

Chongqing Airlines has a fleet of over 25 aircraft. The airline operates using exclusively Airbus aircraft. Within its fleet, Chongqing Airlines uses models such as the A319-100, A320-200, A320neo and A321neo.

Airbus A321neo mainly flies between Chongqing to Beijing and Shenzhen due to its demand. This aircraft model is also equipped with USB charging ports and there will be two additional A321neos joining the airline in the first half of 2020.
