Transavia plane needs a freshen up
Transavia crew on a flight to Amsterdam to Gran Canaria had a challenging situation to deal with when it as forced to divert to Faro in Portugal after cabin unrest. The "medical reasons" cited for the emergency landing were the result of a passenger's severe body odour. The crew had to professionally reassure passengers after many became distressed due to the scent of an "unwashed" man. The staff thought on their feet and attempted to quarantine the man involved in the toilet before the pilot diverted the flight. Some passengers were reportedly physically sick from the ordeal. Transavia state that there were more to the medical reasons than just the foul odour but that was, of course, an unfortunate consequence.
