About Grupo Viva
Grupo Viva is a multinational airline holding company based in Panama City, Panama. The group operates Viva Air Peru& and fellow low cost carrier, VivaColombia. Grupo Viva was created by the backers of the two airlines, Irelandia Aviation and Grupo IAMSA (Inversiones en Autotransportes Mexicanos SA de CV), in order to expand the Viva airline brand in Central and South America.
In total in 2019, the airline has added 15 of 50 new aircraft to its Airbus A320 fleet, which will be completed in 2023. During 2019 the group transferred more than 6.3 million passengers.

Tocumen International Airport (PTY) is the primary international airport which serves the region of Panama City. This airport was a hub for Viva Air Panama and is currently a hub for Copa Airlines. From Tocumen Airport, you can fly to a number of destinations across the Caribbean, The Americas as well as a handful of European and Asian destinations. In 2020, this airport served over 4.5 million passengers.
