About
KD Avia also known as Kaliningrad Avia was an airline based in Kaliningrad, Russia. The airline operated scheduled services to destinations within Russia, CIS and Europe. KD Avia's hub was at Khrabrovo Airport.
KD Avia was founded in October 1945 and began its operations in 1946 under Kaliningrad Avia. In 2004 the airline launched international services and the next year it change its name from Kaliningrad Avia to KD Avia.
In September 2009 it was announced that KD Avia would have its operating certificate revoked in 2 weeks' time, leading to suspensions on all flights.

KD Avia allowed passengers to bring at least one personal item on board free of charge. The personal item couldn't exceed the dimensions of 40x20x25cm.
Prohibited items were not allowed to be carried in carry-on baggage including liquids over 100ml. Any liquids exceeding 100ml should be stored in your checked baggage.
