Flying Green is a new startup airline, to be based in Paris, France. The new airline promises to be fully sustainable and environmentally friendly, while offering a premium flying experience for passengers. Through its commitment to and investment in the latest technology, including the use of aeronautical biofuel, the airline aims to be net zero in its emission of CO2.

Flying Green will have its primary hub at Paris Orly Airport and is currently in the process of acquiring aircraft for its fleet. The company has expressed interest in the Airbus A320neo aircraft.

The brand-new cabins will be designed with a focus on optimising the onboard experience for the passenger, including the latest ambient aircraft lighting. This LED lighting technology helps passengers better adapt to jet lag. The Airbus A320 Neo is also offers of the quietest cabins, helping passengers to relax.

What is seating like?

The seats will be flexible to help each and every passenger fly in comfort. The new ergonomic side walls and extra large storage containers will help make the flying experience as easy and relaxing as possible.


As well as Economy Class seating, the airline has stated that it will also offer a Business Class upgrade. However, more information about the onboard experience in the Business Class cabin has yet to be announced.


Check-in methods are yet to be confirmed by Flying Green.

The airline has yet to publish a statement regarding airport check-in times. It is advised to arrive as early as possible for international flights, usually 2 hours prior to scheduled departure.

Flying Green announces its business plan

The new airline aims to combine “economic performance, a minimal ecological footprint and high-level technical skills”. Flying Green states that it will be the only French airline to have a fleet of the latest generation aircraft, which are much quieter and consume at least 20% less fuel.

Flying Green is committed to implementing the latest technologies to operate more efficiently. The French airline will have a fleet of latest generation aircraft (likely the Airbus A320neo), which is quieter and consumes 20% less fuel. The airline claims that a passenger travelling with Flying Green will reduce their CO2 emissions by 16% on average.
