About Danube Wings
Danube Wings was a Slovakian airline with domestic and international services using ATR 72 aircraft .Its main hub was M. R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava.
The only Slovakian airline, Danube Wings offered flight services for the summer season of 2012 to three Croatian destinations.
Problems with wage payments and aircraft maintenance caused the airline to cease operations in 2013.

M. R. Štefánik Airport also called – especially in English – Bratislava Airport is located approximately 9 km (5.6 mi) northeast of Bratislava city, in Slovakia. As of September 2014 the company is fully owned by the Slovak Republic via the Ministry of Transport, Construction and Regional Development. Bratislava is a base for the Slovak Government Flying Service as well as Ryanair, AirExplore, Go2Sky, and Smartwings Slovakia. During a brief period in 2011, the airport was also a secondary hub for Czech Airlines.
