About Catovair
Catovair was a scheduled regional airline based in Mauritius. Their flights provided routes to the main island of Mauritius, a smaller island of Mauritius called Rodrigues and the French island of Reunion in Africa. Its headquarters was based in Ile Maurice, and its base was Mauritius Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.
The company was originally founded in 2005, but unfortunately stopped operations 3 years later in 2008 when they became out of business.

The airport is a hub for the national airline of Mauritius; Air Mauritius, but also runs services for a number of airlines including Air France, Saudia, South African Airways and British Airways.
