The Cabin

This fare option allows you to carry on a check-in baggage which can weigh up to 23kg. The conditions for this fare option is listed below.

  • Seat selection will cost a fee

Flexichange

Flexirefund

Koru Hour Flights

Air New Zealand Koru Hour flights offer additional snacks and drink choices on its domestic routes. These flights are operated by Airbus A320 family of aircraft on routes between Auckland, Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington and Queenstown. Koru Hours flights are between 4:35pm and 7:05pm on Monday to Fridays.

Online

To check-in online, just visit the Air New Zealand Manage Bookings page and enter your ticket reference number and your family name. You can check-in online from up to 24 hours before your scheduled flight departure time.

If you’ve booked flights with Alternative Airlines, your reference number will be located on the e-ticket that we send to you after booking.

Airport

Check-in for domestic flights closes 30 minutes before departure. Therefore, it is best to leave early from home with plenty of time to spare.

When you arrive at the airport, you can check-in using the self-service kiosks or you could go to any one of Air New Zealand domestic check-in desks.
