Lumiwings is a new Greek airline which will be based in Athens International Airport. It is set to take delivery of its first aircraft, B737-300 SX-LWA (msn 25994). According to Skyliner Aviation, the former Turkmenistan Airlines (T5, Ashgabat) twinjet is imminently due for handover to the Greek start-up. Lumiwings is expected to operate in the ACMI/charter niche where it will compete with the likes of Blue Bird Airways, Olympus Airways, and orange2fly.
Baggage Policy
Lumiwings has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage.
Carry-on Baggage
Every fare-paying passengers receive a piece of carry-on baggage as well as a personal item onboard. Please note that the carry-on baggage must fit within 55cm x 35cm x 25cm in three dimensions or 115cm in total dimension, and it must not weigh over 8kg.
Personal item must fit within 55cm x 35cm x 30cm. This could be items such as a handbag, a laptop or a tablet.
Any baggage that doesn't comply with the limits above may be asked to be transported as checked baggage. Prohibited items are not allowed onboard including any fluid exceeding 100ml, liquid over 100ml must be stored in checked baggage as long as it's not dangerous goods.
Checked Baggage
Economy Class passengers have a baggage allowance of one piece of 23kg checked baggage whereas Business Class passengers can check-in a 32kg baggage. No baggage can exceed 32kg or the airline won't accept the item due to international health and safety regulations.
Checked baggage cannot exceed a total dimension of 158cm (height + width +depth).

Check-In
Lumiwings passengers may check-in for their flight either online or at the airport once they arrive.
Online Check-in
Online check-in is available on the Lumiwings website. It is available between 24 hours to 35 minutes before the established departure time.
Prepare your booking reference and passenger details to complete online check-in. Once online check-in is completed, passengers will receive an electronic boarding pass.
Please note that online check-in isn't available for unaccompanied minors, passengers who require special assistance, children under the age of 12. They must check-in at the airport.
Airport Check-in
Passengers who didn't check-in online can check-in at the airport alternatively.
Airport check-in is available at the airline check-in counter and they close 35 minutes before for domestic flights and 45 minutes before for international flights.
Failure to report to the airline check-in counter in time may risk losing the fare. At Alternative Airlines, we recommend passengers to arrive at the airport two hours before departure.

Fleet
Lumiwings' fleet consists of entirely the Boeing 737-300 and Boeing 737-400. These aircraft have a capacity to accommodate 139 to 168 passengers onboard in a single class configuration or they can be equipped with both business class and economy class seats.
