Aero Contractors Company of Nigeria Limited, also known as Aero Contractors is a Nigerian airline that operates flights out of its hub base, Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. The airline was founded in 1959 and was owned by Schreiner Airways B.V. In September 2016, Aero Contractors announced that it would suspend all scheduled operations due to the Nigerian economic crisis. However, since December 2016 the airline has slowly returned to its full operations.
The airline currently operates up to 7,000 regularly scheduled flights within Nigeria. The airline previously operated services to Accra in Ghana but have suspended this because of the global pandemic and as of May 2022 these international flights have yet to be restored.
Overall, the airline has a fleet of 7 aircraft ranging from all Boeing 737 and De Havilland Dash 8 that can in total carry 618 passengers at one time. In October 2021 the airline received delivery of their 2 new Airbus A320 aircraft, which are yet to enter into service.
Baggage Policy
All baggage must be weighed including carry-ons, laptop bags, purses and other items.
Carry-on Baggage
Aero Contractors allows its passengers to take one piece of hand luggage that doesn't exceed more than 6kg and 45cm x 33cm x 20cm baggage dimensions.
Checked Baggage
Aero Contractors passengers are allowed to take 30kg in Business class and 20kg in Economy class. Any baggage that exceeds the checked baggage allowance will be charged at a fee per kg.
Cabin Classes
The airline has two classes, the standard Economy class and Business class.
Economy Class
The airline's economy class offers passengers amenities such as the one free checked piece of baggage, meals, drinks and the option of choosing your seat.
Economy Class Seats
Seats are positioned in a 2 x 2 formation depending on the aircraft, ensuring that each passenger will sit by either a window, aisle or both.
Business Class
The airline allows its passengers to stay in comfort in the business class and offers you an enjoyable and relaxing time whilst flying to your destination.
Business Class Seats
Business class seats allow you to sit in comfort with comfy leather seats depending on the aircraft and a lot of free legroom to stretch your legs.
In-flight Entertainment & WIFI
Aero Contractors provides in-flight entertainment to keep you entertained throughout your flight. The airline gives you a range of movies, music, TV shows to watch and listen to and more entertainment options that will allow you to travel without becoming bored.
WIFI
Aero Contractors currently has not opted for wifi to be installed on any of their aircraft. However, they do offer some forms of entertainment on board to keep you occupied instead.
Food & Drink
The airline does offer complimentary food and drink during their flights. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic Aero Contractors has decided to suspend this service and only provide free bottles of water if requested during the flight.
Check-In
Aero Contractors allows passengers to check in online prior to their flight, but you can also check in at the airport.

Online check-in is available on all the airline's that offer domestic routes.
Airport Check-in
When passengers arrive at the terminal of the airport, they will hand in their boarding pass and a valid passport for all international flights and also some countries will require a valid entry visa. It would take some time for you to get checked in, therefore the airline emphasis that passengers arrive 2 hours before their scheduled departure time and closes 40 minutes before. The airline crew from their will be ready to help in the check-in and boarding process.
Frequent Flyer Programme
The airline doesn't currently have a frequent flyer program.
Airline Alliance
The airline isn't part of any airline alliance. However, has a technical partnership with CHC Helicopter.

Aero Contractors offers a number of special services for its passengers. If you require any special assistance please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the flight departure time.
Unaccompanied Minors
Aero Contractors will take responsibility for unaccompanied minors between airports where the child embarks and disembarks. Please note that children must be accompanied as far as the airport and the parent/guardian escorting the unaccompanied minor must stay at the airport until the aircraft takes off.
Wheelchair Assistance
Aero Contractors is more than willing to help anyone who may require special assistance. If you or a member of your party require special assistance please contact the airline at least 24 hours before your flight departure time.

As of 2022, the airline has scheduled flights to destinations within Nigeria as well as one in Ghana. These destinations include Abuja, Accra, Asaba, Benin City, Calabar, Kaduna, Kano, Enugu, Lagos, Owerri, Port Harcourt, Uyo and Sokoto.
