Dana Air is a Nigerian airline offering domestic flights within Nigeria. The airline is based at Lagos Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS) and offers flights to five destinations across Nigeria.
Dana Air is a hybrid airline that offers flights that have the safety and quality onboard services of a legacy carrier but also the efficiency and price of a low-cost carrier. The airline was founded in 2008 and launched its first flights in the same year. With both an Economy Class and Business Class cabin, the airline provides a service for passengers that are travelling for both leisure and business.
As well as scheduled flights, Dana Air also offers charter flights from Lagos.

All passengers are allowed one piece of carry-on baggage. This baggage must not exceed 6 kg in weight and must fit within the dimensions of 45cm x 33cm x 20cm (17.1" x 12.9" x 7.8").
Dana Air allows all passengers one piece of checked baggage free of charge.
Economy Class passengers baggage must not exceed 23 kg.
Business Class passengers baggage must not exceed 30 kg.
No one piece of luggage can exceed 32kg.
If passengers need excess baggage, they can purchase it at a fee of ₦500 NGN.
Passengers can check-in online for their Dana Air flights by using their web check-in service. Passengers need to click on the 'online check-in' tab and enter their last name and PNR.
Passengers can check-in at the airport by visiting one of the airline check-in desks at the airport. Check-in opens two hours before scheduled flight departure time and closes 25 minutes before.
Economy class with Dana Air is a simple yet comfortable flying experience. Passengers will have everything they need in Economy, with a generous baggage allowance and food and drink served in-flight.
Economy Class seats are set out in a 3 x 2 or 2 x 3 formation.
Business Class passengers will enjoy a more premium flying experience, with a greater amount of checked baggage allowance of up to 30kg. This means passengers travelling in business have less to worry about, as they can take more baggage without worrying about excess charges for overweight baggage. Passengers are served food and drink once in-flight.
Business Class seats are set out in a 2 x 2 formation.
There's no in-flight entertainment system onboard Dana Air flights.
There's no WIFI network installed on Dana Air flights.
Passengers in Economy Class are given a box of snacks, which usually consists of a cake or doughnut, a candy/sweet bar and water. In addition to this, passengers are served a hot drink with a choice of tea or coffee.
Passengers in Business Class are served a premium version of what is given in Economy Class.
Dana Miles is Dana Air's frequent flyer program, which rewards its regular passengers for flying with the airline by allowing them to earn and redeem miles, as well as a number of other benefits.

Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) is the major airport serving Lagos, Nigeria and the hub airport for Dana Air.
Originally known as Lagos International Airport, the airport consists of a domestic and an international terminal, with both terminals sharing two runways. The airport handles over 7 million passengers per year.
Other than Dana Air, the airport is a hub for Aero Contractors, Arik Air, Azman Air, Med-View Airlines, Air Peace and Ibom Air. Other airlines operating to and from Murtala Muhammed International Airport include Royal Air Maroc, ASKY Airlines, Air Peace and Africa World Airlines.

Dana Air recently announced that it will increase the number of flights it operates on routes to Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Uyo. Specifically, Dana Air is increased flights between Lagos and Port Harcourt, Abuja and Uyo and Lagos to Abuja. The airline will use its newest Boeing 737-300 planes to fly the routes and will offer a combined number of 36 daily flights to these destinations.
Dana Air's Media and Communications Manager, Kingsley Ezenwa, stated that following the increased frequency of these new routes, the airline is keen to review other destinations that are already within its route network and roll out an increase of flights on a number of other routes.
