About Air Peace

Founded in 2013, Air Peace is a Nigerian airline which offers scheduled passenger and charter services. From its hub at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos (LOS), Air Peace mainly flies domestically within Nigeria but also offers a small number of international services to other parts of Africa. Overall, Air Peace flies to over 10 destinations.

Air Peace has a long-term goal to expand its route network to fly to more destinations within Nigeria, as well as major cities internationally. The airline has stated that along with giving Nigeria better connectivity across the world,  one of the major ideas behind the genesis of Air Peace is to create more jobs for people in Nigeria.

Carry-on Baggage

 

Economy Class

Passengers on Air Peace flights that fly in Economy class are entitled to one item of carry-on baggage that can weigh no more than 6kg. Hand luggage must not exceed the overall dimensions of 45 x 33 x 20 cm. In addition to this, Air Peace passengers are allowed to bring one small bag, such as a small backpack, laptop bag or purse.

Business Class

Passengers on Air Peace flights that fly in Business Class are entitled to one item of checked baggage that can weigh no more than 10kg. This baggage must not exceed the overall dimensions of 45 x 33 x 20 cm. In addition to this, Air Peace passengers are allowed to bring one small item.

Checked Baggage

 

Economy Class

Air Peace passengers that are flying domestically within Nigeria in Economy Class are entitled to one item of checked baggage which must weigh no heavier than 20kg.

Air Peace passengers that are flying on all other flights in Economy Class are entitled to two items of checked baggage with a combined total weight of 30kg. 

Business Class

Air Peace passengers that are flying in Business Class are entitled to a maximum of two pieces of baggage with a combined total weight 40kg on all flights. 

 

Children are given the same baggage allowance as adults, however, infants have a maximum checked baggage allowance of 10kg on all flights, no matter which class they're flying in.

 


Air Peace Check-In Information

Online Check-In

Online check-in can be completed by visiting the Air Peace online check-in page and click on the 'Online Check-in' tab. From there, passengers must enter their surname and booking reference to complete web check-in for their Air Peace flight. Online check-in is available from 48 hours up until two hours before scheduled flight departure time.

Airport Check-In

Airport check-in can be completed by visiting an Air Peace check-in agent at the Air Peace check-in counters. Airport check-in is available from two hours up until 30 minutes before scheduled flight departure time.

Air Peace Hub Airport

Lagos Airport

Lagos Airport, or Murtala Muhammed International Airport, is an international airport situated in Ikeja, Nigeria and is the hub airport for Air Peace. Murtala Muhammed International is the main airport in the Lagos State and was built in 1947. The airport has two terminal — an international and domestic — which operate with a shared runway. The airport currently serves over 30 different airlines that fly either domestically or internationally.

Other airlines that uses Murtala Muhammed International Airport as their hub airport include Aero Contractors, Arik Air, Azman Air, Med-View Airline, Goldstar Air, Green Africa Airways and Dana Air.
