UR Airways is an Iraqi airline that was established in 2019. The airline operates services under its own brand as well as for other airlines such as FlyErbil. The airline operates to a range of destinations in the middle east as well as to Europe from Iraq. UR Airways currently operates out of 3 hub airports located across Iraq, which are Baghdad, Erbil and Najaf. The airline operates an all Boeing fleet with the Boeing 737-300 and 737-400 being utilised. Lithuanian air charter provider GetJet also operates aircraft and services on behalf of UR Airways under the airlines IATA and ICAO codes.

It is unknown what the baggage policy of UR Airways is. However, it is expected that you may be permitted to bring 1 item of cabin baggage onboard, such as a handbag, briefcase or small backpack to fit under the seat in front of you.

UR Airways doesn't currently offer an online check-in facility.

Airport Check-In

As the airline doesn't offer an online check-in facility, all passengers will need to do so at the airport. UR Airways hasn't published its opening and closing times of their check-in facilities, however, we recommend arriving to the airport no later than 90 minutes prior to the scheduled departure.

Travel Classes

UR Airlines only offers an economy class product onboard their aircraft. They have installed their seats in 3x3 rows and are comfortable leather chairs allowing for great levels of comfort and relaxation.

In-flight Entertainment & Wi-fi

UR Airlines doesn't offer inflight entertainment or Wifi onboard its aircraft. They may provide reading materials including an inflight magazine. However, we recommend that you bring your own entertainment to keep you occupied throughout your flight.

Food & Beverages

It is currently unknown if the airline provides complimentary drinks and snacks. If the airline is operating services on behalf of FlyErbil then a free meal service will be included.

The airline doesn't currently offer a frequent flyer program.

The airport was opened in 2008 by the at time prime minister Nouri Al-Maliki, operating with a single runway. The airport is a hub for national airline Iraqi Airways as well as UR Airways.
