Smartwings Poland, formally known as Travel Service Polska is a charter airline that began operating services in 2012. The airline is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Czech Airline Smartwings, which also owns flag carrier Czech Airlines as well as Smartwings Hungary and Smartwings Slovakia. The airline is based at Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) and offers charter flights to leisure destinations across Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. Altogether, it has more than 30 destinations in its route network that passengers can board charter flights to. The airline operates by offering both charter and scheduled flights, primarily to leisure and holiday destinations. Smartwings Poland operates a single Boeing 737-800 aircraft and during peak seasons leases a second aircraft from parent company Smartwings.
Smartwings Poland offers both checked and cabin baggage for its flights.
All passengers regardless of ticket type are entitled to bring 1 cabin bag onboard with them weighing up to 8kg and fitting within the 55x45x25 cm limitations. Passengers on all ticket types other than Economy Lite are also allowed to bring one personal item which should not exceed 40x30x15 cm and has a weight allowance of 3kg.
The Baggage allowance policy will depend on the fare type selected at booking. If travelling on an 'Economy Lite' ticket then you are not entitled to any checked baggage and must purchase this additionally. If you have selected Smartwings 'Plus' or 'Flex' ticket then you are allowed to bring 1 suitcase weighing 23kg. If a passenger has already booked their flight with Smartwings Poland, the baggage will also be displayed on their e-ticket for reference.
There is one cabin class onboard a Smartwings Poland flight.
Smartwings has a single cabin, Economy Class, which consists of 189 seats. The cabin is looked after and the airline's cabin crew is available to help with anything that passengers might want or need.
Seats are set out in a 3 x 3 configuration, with between 30–32" (76–81 cm) of seat pitch and 17" (43 cm) of width.
The food and drink offering on the flight depends on the route flown and ticket type booked. If travelling on Smartwings Lite and Plus tickets then drinks and snacks aren't included in the ticket. However, Flex passengers are entitled to free food and beverages. If you wish to purchase any meals or snacks throughout the flight the airline offers an onboard bistro to do so. On long-haul flights, passengers will be given a complimentary, along with a choice of snacks and drinks. If you have booked your flight through a tour operator, please check with them as meals may be included on the flight.
Smartwings offers wifi onboard their aircraft. The wifi is free of charge to view details of the flight as well as read the inflight magazine. However, if you wish to watch the inflight entertainment then you will have to pay 2 EUR to do so. To access this please download the MyWings app before departure.

Check-in can be completed online via the Smartwings online check-in page or via the Smartwings app. Online check-in opens 30 hours prior to departure and closes an hour before. If you have checked luggage you can still check-in online and then head to the bag drop counters at the airport.
Please note that any departure from a Russian city or Egyptian destination online check-in is not permitted as the relevant authorities must have a printed boarding card.
Airport check-in can be completed by visiting the airline check-in counters at the airport of departure. Airport check-in times differ depending on the arrival destinations, however, generally, check-in counters close 1 hour before scheduled flight departure time. We recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 90 minutes before your departure.

Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) is the main international airport in Poland and the hub airport for Smartwings Poland. The airport has one large terminal building with two runways. It serves over 18 million passengers annually. Smartwings Poland has used Warsaw Chopin as its hub since it began flying in 2012. The airline also has a secondary hub at Katowice International Airport (KTW).
