World Atlantic Airlines was previously named Caribbean Sun Airlines and was founded in 2002. It's a public charter airline headquartered in Florida, United States, and has its hub at Miami International Airport. As a charter airline, they have once provided charter services for Myrtle Beach Direct Air, United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Avior Airlines and more.

As of October 2020, the airline is currently operating a fleet of McDonnell Douglas MD-83 with a capacity of accommodating around 150 passengers onboard.

Baggage Policy

Passengers flying with World Atlantic Airlines will have different baggage policies depending on type of baggage booked.

Carry-on Baggage

One personal item and one carry-on baggage is allowed per passenger. These items have to fit in the overhead lockers or under the seat, any oversized or irregular items must be transported as checked baggage.

Personal items can be items such as a laptop bag, a camera and a handbag. It cannot exceed 9" x 10" x 17" in three dimensions.

The carry-on baggage cannot exceed 9" x 14" x 22" in three dimensions.

Prohibited items must be transported in checked baggage including any fluid exceeding 100ml. Any prohibited items found by airport security would be confiscated.

Checked Baggage

One 50lbs (23kg) checked baggage is allowed per fare-paying passengers and no baggage exceeding 70lbs (32kg) would be accepted by the airline due to international health and safety regulations. Checked baggage cannot exceed 62 inches (158cm) in the sum of three dimensions (L+W+H).

Check-In

Passengers flying with World Atlantic Airlines must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check-in.

Online Check-in

Online check-in is available for the airline. All passenger must check-in at the airport.

Airport Check-in

Airport check-in counters are labelled with the airline and logo. The designated check-in areas are shown by signs and information board at the airport, please seek airport staff assistance if unsure. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport two hours prior to scheduled departure time to avoid unexpected delays. Failure to check-in according to the airline policy may result in loss of fare.

These aircraft are in a two cabin class layout with a 3 x 2 configuration in Coach class and 2 x 2 configuration in First class.
