Tsaradia is a domestic airline in Madagascar operating out of Ivato International Airport, the main international airport in the capital of Madagascar. Tsaradia is a sister airline of the Madagascar national airline - Air Madagascar. The creation of this airline is a result of Air Madagascar's decision on having a subsidiary airline specialising in domestic services.
The name Tsaradia means "a beautiful journey", which reflects the company's aim of having a customer focus, be professional and stay committed to the local citizens and its economy.
Tsaradia is serving 15 domestic destinations including Ambatondrazaka, Antsiranana, Maroantsetra, Sainte Marie and Taolagnaro with a fleet of ATR72-500, Boeing 737 and de Havilland Canada Twin Otter.
Baggage Policy
Tsaradia has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage policy.
Carry-on Baggage
Every passenger is entitled to one piece of carry-on baggage and a personal item. Carry-on baggage cannot exceed a total dimension of 115cm (L + W + H) and the total maximum weight depends on the cabin class.
Loisirs Class passengers' carry-on baggage cannot weigh heavier than 5kg, whereas Privilège Class passenger receives 10kg carry-on baggage allowance.
An infant has a free baggage allowance of 10kg.
Personal items can be items such as a camera, a laptop bag and a handbag. Any prohibited items including any fluid exceeding 100ml and sharp object, otherwise, these items will be confiscated by airport security.

Online check-in isn't available for the airline. All passengers must check-in at the airport.
Airport Check-in
Passengers can check-in at the airline check-in counters between two hours to 45 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Checked baggage can be dropped off at the time of check-in.
Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport two hours before the scheduled departure time. Failure to check-in before the check-in deadline may result in denied boarding or loss of fare.
Any passengers requiring assistance at the airport or on the aircraft should arrive 2.5 hours before the established departure time.

Ivato International Airport (TNR) is the major international airport at the capital of Madagascar and located 16km from Antananarivo. The parent company of Tsaradia, Air Madagascar is also based at the airport. With just one active runway and a passenger terminal, it's not a particularly big airport about there are a variety of airline flying in and out of the airport.
Other airlines that fly to and from the airport includes Air Austral, Air France, Airlink, Air Mauritius, Air Seychelles, Comores Aviation, Ethiopian Airlines, Kenya Airways and Turkish Airlines.
