The Cabin
Economy
Sun Country have 1 cabin class (Economy) onboard their international and domestic aircraft routes. Within the Economy class there are 3 different seat options. All 3 seat options offer a full-size tray table, comfortable seating and in-seat power. Sun Country doesn’t have Wi-Fi onboard its domestic flights. The cabin classes are divided into standard, exit row, and best seats.
Standard Seats
This type of seat can be found in the majority of economy cabins onboard mainline US airlines. On board Sun Country’s domestic flights, a standard seat provides you with 29-30in (73-76cm) of legroom, a limited recline ability and most of the seats will feature a USB charging port for your devices. Sun Country does provide a free entertainment service that is able to be streamed to any personal device that you will bring on board with you.
Exit Row Seats
The exit row seats have an extra 9-10in (23–25 cm) of legroom for you to remain comfortable during your flight, but the limited recline remains the same. The seats also feature the same USB charging points for you to charge your devices and continue enjoying the free entertainment. This type of seat is placed at the exit rows of the aircraft and requires you to achieve a certain criterion in order to sit in it. More information on Sun Country’s exact requirements for domestic flights can be found on their website.
Best Seats
The ‘best seats’ on board Sun Country’s domestic flights are found in the front section of the cabin. These seats offer you the most amount of legroom than any other seat onboard the aircraft, at 34in per passenger. They come complete with a moveable headset and an extra 3in of room to recline, ensuring the utmost comfort for your flight with Sun Country. Flying in the best seats will mean that you will have both USB charging ports and standard AC power outlets available to you when your devices are running low on charge.
Those who book one of the best seats will also be entitled to priority boarding and once settled will receive a completely complimentary premium beverage.
Priority Seats
There are 8 priority seats on board Sun Country’s Boeing 737-800 flights. These seats are classed as priority seats as they are reserved for those who have additional requirements or disabilities.
