Runway 17/35 is the primary runway at the airport. It was reconstructed in 2019 after not meeting the requirements from the Federal Aviation Administration. After the reconstruction, the runway's name changed from 16/34 to 17/35.

Terminals

Asheville Regional Airport has one terminal building that has undergone a number of renovations and expansion projects since it was opened in 1961, with the most recent updates coming in 2009 with general improvements and in 2017 with a large car park being opened outside the terminal.
