Singapore Changi has three runways. Runways 02L/20R and 02C/20C are used for commercial flights, while 02R/20L is used for military flights.
Runway 02L/20R is usually used for arrivals and 02C/20C is usually used for departures.
Singapore Changi has four terminals, numbered 1–4. The terminals have the capacity to carry up 85 million passengers per year. The airport also has a private luxury terminal, the JetQuay CIP Terminal and has plans to open a Terminal 5 in the 2030s.
Terminal 1 is the oldest terminal currently active at the airport, opening in 1981. Terminal 1 is located north of the airport. It underwent a major renovation in 2019.
Terminal 2 is located east of the airport and opened in 1990.
Terminal 3 is located west of the airport and opened in 2008.
Terminal 4 is the newest terminal at the airport, opening in 2017. The terminal is located south of the airport.
