Buy Oriental Air Bridge with Alternative Airlines

Oriental Air Bridge is a Japanese airline operating domestic flights in Japan. The airline was founded in June 1961 and commenced operations in May 1980. The first-ever service for the airline was between Nagasaki and Iki and the route is still currently operating. In November 2009, the airline started codeshare flights with ANA All Nippon Airways on a few routes. These codeshare routes are originating from Nagasaki and Fukuoka to destinations like Tsushima, Fukue, and Miyazaki.

The airline is currently operating these domestic flights with DHC-8-201 and DHC-8-400, which are perfect for these routes. The airline is based at Nagasaki Airport, where many international and regional carriers operate. It provides great connectivity for travellers intending to travel on to a connecting flight.

Baggage Policy

Oriental Air Bridge has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage.

Checked Baggage

Any checked baggage on the airlines flights cannot exceed 203cm in the sum of three dimensions. There is no limit on the number of checked baggage allowed but the total weight allowance is 20kg. Any weight excessing 20kg is subject to an excess baggage charge.

No passenger is allowed to check baggage for more than a total of 100kg.

Check-In

Passengers flying with Oriental Air Bridge must check-in for their flight at the airport as online check-in is currently unavailable.

Online Check-in

Online check-in is not available as an option.

Airport Check-in

Please check the airline's check-in deadlines at the airport. At Alternative Airlines, we recommend passengers to arrive at the airport two hours before departure for domestic flights and three hours before scheduled departure time for international flights.

Failure to check in on time may result in loss of fare. The airline reserves the rights to deny boarding.

Food & Drink

There is currently no in-flight meal service onboard as all routes are domestic short-haul flights.
