LACSA Costa Rica, formerly Avianca Costa Rica, is headquartered in San Jose and is the national airline of Costa Rica. The airline operates international services to over 35 destinations in North, Central and South America as well as domestic flights within Costa Rica.
In 2013, Avianca Costa Rica became one of seven nationally branded airlines (along with Avianca Honduras, Avianca Brasil and Avianca Equador) under the Avianca Holdings group of Latin American airlines. The airline's legal name of the airline remains OceanAir, however, it has been rebranded as Avianca since it is owned by Synergy Group, which owns Avianca Holdings.
LACSA Costa Rica, now as part of Avianca, flies to many destinations including Toronto, Santiago, Bogota, San Jose de Costa Rica, San Salvador, Guatemala City, Cancun, Panama City, Lima, Los Angeles and New York.
Economy Class is the airline's simple and less expensive cabin class, for those who want a comfortable journey at a great price.

Business Class seats are set out in a 2 x 2 formation. Business Class seats give extra width, comfort and recline &mdash reclining into full-flat beds on long-haul flights. Seats come fitted with televisions that are fitted personal TV monitors.
