LACSA Costa Rica is now known as Avianca Costa Rica.

LACSA Costa Rica, now known as Avianca Costa Rica, was headquartered in San Jose and is the national airline of Costa Rica. The airline operated international services to over 35 destinations in North, Central and South America as well as domestic flights within Costa Rica.

In 2013, Avianca Costa Rica became one of seven nationally branded airlines (along with Avianca Honduras, Avianca Brasil and Avianca Equador) under the Avianca Holdings group of Latin American airlines. The airline's legal name of the airline remains OceanAir, however, it has been rebranded as Avianca since it is owned by Synergy Group, which owns Avianca Holdings.

Destinations

LACSA Costa Rica, now part of Avianca, flies to many destinations including Toronto, Santiago, Bogota, San Jose de Costa Rica, San Salvador, Guatemala City, Cancun, Panama City, Lima, Los Angeles and New York.

Cabin Classes

LACSA Costa Rica had two cabin classes - Economy and Business.

Economy Class

Economy Class was the airline's simple and less expensive cabin class, for those who wanted a comfortable journey at a great price.

Economy Class Facilities

Passengers could order food and drink from the airline's in-flight menu.

On long-haul flights, passengers could enjoy a range of TV shows, movies and more from the airline's in-flight entertainment system, which could be accessed through a TV screen that is fitted to each seat.

Economy Class Seats

Economy Class seats were set out in either a 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 formation. Each seat gave ample legroom and seat width.

Business Class

Business Class was available on selected flights and offered a more luxurious flying experience.

Economy Class Facilities

Business Class passengers could enjoy priority boarding and check-in, as well as access to the airline's Business Class lounge.

Business Class passengers were given the option to order food and drink, which were of an exceptional standard, from the airline's in-flight menu.

Passengers were given access to the airline's in-flight entertainment system, which had a fantastic range of TV shows, films, music and more.

What are Business Class Seats

Business Class seats were set out in a 2 x 2 formation. Business Class seats gave extra width, recline and comfort, reclining into full-flat beds on long-haul flights. Seats came fitted with televisions that were fitted with personal TV monitors.
