Costa Rica Green Airways has different rules for carry-on and checked baggage.

Carry-on Baggage

Each Passenger can carry one piece of hand baggage of up to 10 pounds. Items that do not meet the weight requirements for hand baggage will not be accepted for carriage in the passenger cabin.

Checked Baggage

With the airline's Basic fare, passengers can check-in one piece of baggage up to 40 pounds per passenger. Checked baggage must not exceed the following dimensions: 65cm x 40cm x 25cm. All passengers can check in more than one item of baggage, but charges will apply.

The airline is proud of its modern and comfortable aircraft. The onboard experience will depend on the aircraft being operated for the flight, but in all instances, passengers are welcomed onboard by experienced flight attendants, who will show passengers to their seats and ensure all passengers are comfortable. Although there is no in-flight entertainment, passengers can make the most of the stunning views of the landscape below. Passengers are encouraged to make the most of the facilities available at the airport before departure, including W/C facilities and snack bars.

Daher Kodiak 100: The airline has a brand new fleet of Daher Kodiak aircraft, which offer a top-of-the-line on-board experience. The modern interior offers a remarkable flight experience, featuring all-leather seats, charging ports for electronic devices and cupholders. There are also individual storage pockets in the sidewall at each seat.

King Air aircraft: The King Air is best known its smooth handling comfortable interior, featuring a spacious cabin with more headroom and shoulder space.

Islander BN2A-8: The Islander has a simple, clean, and efficient design, providing passengers with a high level comfort.

Twin Otter: This the airline's largest biggest plane, with a capacity of 19 passengers. The cabin is spacious with ample storage in the seat pockets and under the seats.

Passengers must arrive at the airport with plenty of time to complete check-in and, where applicable, check in their baggage. The airline's dedicated check-in desks open one hour before scheduled departure, and close 15 minutes before the flight is scheduled to depart.
