Albany International Airport is an airport located in Albany, New York. Despite being an international airport and having the capability to handle international flights, Albany airport currently only facilitates domestic flights from US carriers, with a particular focus on serving flights in and around the eastern US.
There are no airlines that currently use Albany International as a hub airport.
The airstrip's history dates back to 1908 and the airports itself opened in 1928, making it the oldest airport owned by a city in the country. The airport has undergone a few renovations and expansions since being built, with the most notable being a new terminal building in 1996 (replacing the existing one).

Albany International Airport is located in the Albany County in New York, northwest of central Albany. It takes between 15–30 minutes to drive to Albany International from downtown Albany, depending on the time of day that you're travelling at.
There are no traditional lounges at Albany International. However, there is a single military room, which can be used by all military members and their families.
Albany International has three runways. Two of its runways, runway 10L/28R and runway 10R/28L, are long runways that are used for commercial flights. The other runway, runway 03/21, is much smaller and used mainly for general aviation.
Runway 10L/28R (2,995m in length) is used for both departures and arrivals. 10L is mainly used for all departures off the runway.
Runway 10R/28L (3,535m in length) is the longest runway at the airport. It's used for arrivals and departures. 10R is mainly used for all arrivals.
03/21 (1,829m in length) is used mainly by ameriflight and FedEx. It can only facilitate small planes.
There is just one terminal building at Albany International, which is referred to as the 'main terminal'. The terminal is split into two floors, with check-in area, baggage claim etc on Level 1 and a public waiting area on Level 2.
Post-security the airport is split into three concourses, which are lettered A–C.
Concourse A is the oldest concourse in the terminal. It opened in 1968 and facilitates flights from Allegiant and United.
Concourse B facilitates flights from American Airlines, Delta and JetBlue.
Concourse C is the newest concourse and was built in 1998. The concourse opened in late 1998 and facilitates flights from Southwest and Frontier.
There are no airlines that use Albany airport as its hub.

CDTA bus route 1 travels between Albany International Airport and Colonie & Downtown Albany, with multiple stops along the way. The bus runs seven days a week.

Bus tickets with Adirondack Trailways must be purchased prior to travel.
