Checked Baggage

As American Eagle, Piedmont Airlines’ airport hub is Charlotte Douglas International Airport, located in North Carolina. This airport was first established from 1935 under the name Charlotte Municipal Airport, until 1954 where it was renamed to Douglas Municipal Airport. It wasn’t until 1982 when it was renamed to its current form; Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

The airport currently has 2 runways, with 2017 seeing the airport serving almost 46 million passengers, from 553,000 aircraft.
