About GoAir

GoAir is an Indian low-cost-carrier based in Mumbai. It's the aviation foray of the Wadia Group and the fifth largest airline in India by market share. It operates domestic passenger services to over 20 cities with more than 150 daily flights and around 1000 weekly flights. GoAir's airport hubs are at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai and Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

GoAir was founded in the year 2005 by Jehangir Wadia, son of Indian industrialist Nusli Wadia. The airline is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Wadia Group. The airline publishes an in-flight magazine Go-getter. GoAir offers a premium service known as Go Business at a higher fare which provides extra services such as larger legroom seats, free meals, increased baggage allowance and priority boarding.

GoAir operates to 22 destinations in India with over 140 daily flights and 975 weekly flights. GoAir does not operate any international flights Port Blair, Patna, Guwahati, Chandigarh, Goa, Amhedabad, Jammu, Leh, Srinagar, Ranchi, Bangalore, Kochi, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, Chennai, Lucknow, Bagdogra and Kolkata. GoAir's fleet consists of Airbus A320-200. GoAir is positioned as 'the Smart People's Airline'. Its captivating theme, 'Fly Smart' is aimed at offering passengers a consistent, quality-assured, and time-efficient service through 'pocket-friendly' fares.
