About Capricornio Air
Capricornio Air is a new airline with plans to operate a series of domestic routes within Peru. The airline was granted its Operating Licence to operate scheduled flights in June 2021 after submitting an application with Peru’s Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC). Initially, Capricornio Air plans on operating an extensive domestic route network from its hub at Jorge Chávez International Airport in Lima (LIM). Long-term, the airline has also expressed global ambitions. The airline hopes to build an extensive fleet of aircraft ranging from wide-body planes to helicopters.

As the airline is in an early stage of start-up, it has yet to announce what the baggage allowance will be for passengers.
Prohibited items must be stored in checked baggage, including any fluid exceeding 100ml. Prohibited items found by airport security could be confiscated.
Checked Baggage
Unfortunately, this information has yet to be announced.
International health and safety regulations state that checked baggage cannot weigh over 32kg, and must not exceed the permitted size allowance.

It is not yet known whether online check-in is available.
Airport Check-in
The airline has yet to publish a statement regarding recommended check-in times. However, in most instances it is recommended that passengers arrive as early as possible, usually about 2 hours before scheduled departure.

Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM), also known as Aeropuerto Internacional Jorge Chávez in Spanish, is the main international and domestic airport in Peru. It is located in Callao, 11 kilometres from Peru’s Historic Centre of Lima. Callao is a bustling port city, which has now fully integrated with Lima, the capital of Peru.
International airlines that fly to Jorge Chávez International Airport include: Avianca, LATAM, Delta, United Airlines, KLM, Copa Airlines JetSMART, Iberia, Avior Airlines and TAM airlines.
