Nordica (branded as 'nordica')is the Estonian flag carrier, headquartered in Tallinn, with Tallinn Airport being its central hub. The company was founded in September 2015 after the liquidation of the previous national carrier Estonian Air. The name, Nordica, relates to the brands allegiance to northern Europe and is also in conjunction with the previous name, Nordic Aviation Group. In 2016, a partnership was formed with LOT Polish Airlines. Most flights are marketed by LOT, who own 49% of shares in the company.
In 2016 a codeshare partnership was formed with LOT Polish Airlines. Travellers can collect 'Miles & More' points when they fly. The airlines also has a partnership with Scandinavian Airlines. Nordica currently operates flights on behalf of these two airlines.

Currently, nordica operates domestic flights to the following cities within Sweden: Gällivare, Arvidsjaur, and Stockholm. It also flies internationally to Brussels, in Belgium, and to Warsaw, in Poland.

For nordica flights, you are permitted 1 bag of a maximum weight of 8kgs at no additional cost If you are a business call traveler, you are allowed to bags weighing 9kgs. The maximum dimensions of your hand luggage are: 55cm x 40cm x 23 cm. You may also carry free of charge the following accessories: a handbag, an overcoat, an umbrella, a laptop, small camera bag or one item similar or smaller size.
Economy class: one piece of baggage free of charge with maximum linear dimensions of 158cm and 23kg. Premium class: 2 pieces of baggage free of charge with maximum linear dimensions of 158cm and 23kg each. Business class: 2 pieces of baggage free of charge with maximum linear dimensions of 158cm and 32kg each.
Online check-in is open between 36 hours and 60 minutes before scheduled departure, and can be completed through the airline's website.
Check-in can also be completed at the airport. Passengers are advised to arrive as early as possible, at least 2 hours prior to scheduled departure.
This is the most affordable ticket, although the flexibility of the ticket (including name changes and date changes) will be limited. Cancellation fees will also apply. Meals/snacks are not complementary.
Premium tickets offer an upgrade on Economy. Light meals or snacks are complementary and priority boarding is included.
Business Class seats have an extra seat in between passengers for extra comfort. Seats can be reserved ahead of flight departure. Passengers can enjoy priority boarding and will collect extra Miles & More points when they fly. Before flying, passengers can also relax in an exclusive airport lounge.
Thanks to LOT Polish Airlines partnership with Star Alliance, nordica passengers can collect points and use them in the Miles & More program. This is a loyalty program whose members earn miles for LOT/nordica flights and redeem them for valuable awards. Registration is free and miles can be earned straight away. Program members earn miles for flying with all Star Alliance airlines and can then redeem them for flight tickets and rewards offered by more than 300 non-airline partners such as hotels and shops, as well as for upgrades.
The fleet at Nordica airways is constantly adapting and changing but it currently includes two Bombardier CRJ900 and 6 ATR 72-600 aircraft. One is operated on behalf of Scandinavian Airlines and one is operated on behalf of Scandinavian Airlines.
Nordica is based at Tallin Airport which is the largest airport in Estonia. The airport is open to both domestic and international flights and is located around 3 miles southeast of the center of the city of Tallinn.
