LATAM Express also known as Transporte Aéreo S.A or previously known as LAN Express and Ladeco is a commuter airline that operates scheduled flights out of its hub base, Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) in Pudahuel, Santiago, Chile. The airline was founded in 1998 and is a subsidiary of LATAM Chile. The airline was formally founded in 1958 as Ladeco and the airline was then acquired by LAN Chile in 1995. In 1998 LAN Chile integrated Ladeco with Fast Air. In 2005, the brand was then merged back into LAN Chile, when it was rebranded to LAN Airlines. The airline was rebranded to LATAM Express when LAN Airlines was renamed LATAM Chile in 2016.

LATAM Express currently operates 16 regularly scheduled domestic within Chile and few international routes for its parent.

In total, the airline has a fleet of 13 aircraft ranging all from Airbus all leased from LATAM Chile that can in total carry 1,980 passengers at one time.

The airline offered an airline alliance called Oneworld from 2004 up until 2020.

The airline allows a hold luggage allowance with a maximum weight of 20kg and a linear dimension of 158 cm.

Latam Express has 1 cabin class - Economy Class. There is a range of in-flight entertainment options in Economy Class.

Economy Class

The airline mostly operates small flights and there is only one cabin class that is provided on the aircraft and that is the standard Economy class. Passengers in this class could enjoy a variety of entertainment using the airline's in-flight entertainment system with more than 150 movies and TV shows. Other amenities such as the one free checked piece of baggage, refreshments, beverages, and the option of choosing your seat.

Seats

Seats are placed in a 3 x 3 formation, ensuring that each passenger will sit by either a window, aisle, or passengers. Passengers can enjoy a comfortable seat with a seat width of 44 cm and an ample amount of legroom with a seat pitch of 82 cm.

LATAM Express passengers can check-in online through the LATAM Express website. The online check-in is available between 48 and 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time.
