About Iceland Express

Iceland Express was a low-cost Icelandic airline. Iceland Express was headquartered in Reykjavík, Iceland and operated scheduled flights to a number of destinations across Europe using wet-leased aircraft.

Iceland Express began its operations in February 2003 but in 2012, Iceland Express ended operations. Wow Air acquired Iceland Express and took over its operations.

Iceland Express allowed passengers to bring one piece of hand baggage onboard. The dimensions of the carry-on could not exceed 55x35x25cm (21x14x10 inches). Iceland Express also allowed passengers to bring one personal item including a handbag, a coat, and a laptop computer. The total weight of your carry-on and the personal item could not exceed 10 kg (22 lbs). Your carry-on baggage would be considered as checked baggage if it exceeded the carry-on rules.
