Buy Unity Air Flights with Alternative Airlines

Unity Air is an scheduled carrier airline based in Accra, Ghana. The airline was founded in 2018, after it was renamed and rebranded from Air Futures Airlines. They aim to operate domestic flights around Ghana.

The airline obtained its first aircraft from SkyWest Airlines, an E120, in April 2018, during the process of obtaining its AOC. It’s AOC was obtained in November 2018 from the Ghanaian Civil Aviation Authority, and began flying shortly after. Flights are expected to cover Accra, Tamale and Kumasi at first, with flights to Wa, Takoradi, Sunyani and Ho expected in the future.

Baggage Policy

Unity Air has different baggage policies for carry-on and checked baggage.

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers are permitted 1 cabin bag, which must be able to fit easily under the seat in front of you. For this reason, and to fit in the overhead bins, the cabin bags are recommended to be packed in soft-sided bags. In addition, passengers are permitted one smaller item for their flight, such as a small handbag, laptop bag, reading material and small backpack. The total of your carry on luggage should not exceed 5kg.

Checked Baggage

Passengers are permitted 23kg of checked luggage.

Food & Drink

Food

Passengers will receive a complimentary refreshing yogurt and snack on board their Unity Air flight.

Drinks

To complement the yogurt and snack, passengers will also be served a fresh fruit juice free of charge on their flight.

Check-In

Airport Check-in

As online check-in is not yet available for Unity Air passengers, check-in must be done at the airport. It is recommended that passengers arrive at the airport at least 45 minutes before the flight is due to depart, and no later than 30 minutes. Passengers are required to present a government issued ID. At check-in, passengers will also be given a seat assignment, with the single row port side seats issued to passengers with premium tickets.
