Skyward Express Limited is an African airline based at Nairobi Wilson Airport in Nairobi. The airline was founded in 2013 by a group of local pilots and investors and is now recognised as the premier charter company in the Kenya and Eastern African aviation industry.
Skyward Express's 5-star air charter service and scheduled passenger service is distinguished by its unrivalled customer service, safety record, reliability and quality.
Skyward Express began operations with a Fokker 50 and started ad hoc charters to and from Keyna, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Somalia. Today, the airline operates scheduled passenger services from Nairobi's Wilson airport to the following destinations: Mombasa, Lodwar, Lamu, and Eldoret. Plans are in place to add further destinations in the future; the aim is to open up the East African region by linking it with the rest of the world.

Skyward Express offers a maximum permitted weight for Checked Baggage of 20kg / 44lbs inclusive of hand luggage. Passengers will be required to pay an extra charge for carriage of Baggage in excess of the free Baggage allowance (as stipulated in our terms and conditions). These rates are available from us upon request from time to time.
Passengers are entitled to one piece of carry-on baggage and a personal item. The carry-on baggage cannot exceed 5 kg / 11 lbs in weight and no larger than 30cm x 53cm x 23cm (12" x 21" x 9"). Personal items include a purse, a handbag, a laptop, a camera, etc.
Any carry-on baggage exceeding the limit must be transported as checked baggage.
A piece of checked baggage is allowed for each passenger as long as it's lighter than 15kg / 33lbs in weight and the size of standard checked baggage. Any oversized or large objects will not be accepted by the airline.

Carriage of excess Baggage is subject to available space on your flight.
The only cabin class available on Skyward Express flights is Economy Class.
Economy Class is the airline's only cabin class. The cabin spacious and relaxed cabin is crewed by the airline's friendly and professionally trained cabin crew.
Seats are usually set out in either a 2 x 2 or 2 x 3 formation. Seats are designed to give maximum legroom and space to each passenger.

Online check-in is now available via the airline website. Check in and print your boarding pass to speed up the check-in process at the airport.
Online check-in opens 24 hours before departure. Please prepare your ticket and passport details for check-in.
Airport check-in counters open 90 minutes up until 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time. It is advised to arrive in plenty of time at the airport to avoid unexpected delays.
Any passengers late for check-in may result in losing their ticket. Please present valid photographic identification at the airport to verify the traveller's identity.
Skyward Express isn't part of any airline alliances.
