Hub Airport

Wilson Airport, Nairobi

ALS is headquartered at Wilson Airport in Nairobi, Kenya. The airport is a hub for ALS as well as other regional carriers such as Air Kenya Express, Fly-SAX and Safarilink.  The airport is also equipped to serve international traffic. Due to faster check-in times and relatively fewer flight delays compared to Jomo Kenyetta International Airport, the airport is favoured for  regional and domestic operations which are of higher frequency.

Wilson International airport has two runways and handles at an average of 120,000 landings and take-offs annually.

Baggage Allowance

Free Baggage Allowance

ALS allows 2  bags as standard checked baggage. The maximum permissible dimension of the checked baggage is specified as 157 centimeters (62in), i.e. the sum of length + width + breadth shouldn't exceed 62in  or 157 cm. The maximimum permissible weight of each bag is 23 kg (50lbs).

Excesss Baggage fees

Fly ALS don't state the exact fee for excess baggage. But, it's expected to be around $90 USD for each excess bag per passenger.

Overweight and Oversized Baggage fees:

In case of overweight or oversized baggage, a fee will be charged. The exact fee is subject to change and ALS has advised to contact them to inquire about the fee. Bags weighing more than 40kg (90lbs)  won't  be accepted onboard ALS aircraft.
