About Fly ALS
Fly ALS is a regional airline in Kenya and has been operating in the country since 1985. The airline operates short hops between the cities of Kenya using its fleet of small turboprop aircraft which typically seat 50-80 passengers. The airline's operational base is at Wilson Airport which is situated in the South West of the capital of Kenya, Nairobi.
The airline is part of Aircraft Leasing Services (ALS) group which, along with scheduled aircraft services (operated by ALS Airline and branded as FLY ALS), provides capacity support to existing and startup airlines, operates charter flights for oil and gas companies, and provides maintenance support at its hub in Nairobi, Kenya.

ALS is headquartered at Wilson Airport in Nairobi, Kenya. The airport is a hub for ALS as well as other regional carriers such as Air Kenya Express, Fly-SAX and Safarilink. The airport is also equipped to serve international traffic. Due to faster check-in times and relatively fewer flight delays compared to Jomo Kenyetta International Airport, the airport is favoured for regional and domestic operations which are of higher frequency.
Wilson International airport has two runways and handles at an average of 120,000 landings and take-offs annually.
Baggage Allowance
Free Baggage Allowance
ALS allows 2 bags as standard checked baggage. The maximum permissible dimension of the checked baggage is specified as 157 centimeters (62in), i.e. the sum of length + width + breadth shouldn't exceed 62in or 157 cm. The maximimum permissible weight of each bag is 23 kg (50lbs).
Excesss Baggage fees
Fly ALS don't state the exact fee for excess baggage. But, it's expected to be around $90 USD for each excess bag per passenger.
Overweight and Oversized Baggage fees:
In case of overweight or oversized baggage, a fee will be charged. The exact fee is subject to change and ALS has advised to contact them to inquire about the fee. Bags weighing more than 40kg (90lbs) won't be accepted onboard ALS aircraft.

Check-In Online
When flying with ALS you can check-in online on their website. You'll need to enter your booking reference number and your last name to complete your check-in. Online check-in opens 24 hours before the departure of flight. Minimum time requirements for check-in, baggage check and boarding may vary based on your departure airport and destination so it is best to confirm these timings as mentioned in your ticket.
Airport Check-In
ALS passengers can check in 60 minutes before the departure of the flight. As a general rule, we recommend passengers arrive 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. Check-in must be completed before the airport check-in deadline, otherwise, passengers may lose their flight.
Frequent Flyer Program
ALS doesn't have a frequent flyer program yet.
WIFI & In-Flight Entertainment
Since the airline operates regional routes over smaller distances and flight times, it doesn't offer WIFI & in-flight entertainment onboard its aircraft

On September 2022, due to high demand, the airline announced twice daily services between the destinatons of Nairobi, Yukunda and Wipingo. Before this, the airline used to operate on these routes only once per day.

Are Fly ALS tickets refundable?
Fly ALS tickets are not refundable. However, passengers will get a full refund if the flight is cancelled. If a ticket has been paid by someone other than the passenger, the refund will be made to the person who bought the ticket.
