Buy Rano Air flights with Alternative Airlines

Rano Air is a Nigerian Airline which was founded in 2019. The airline performs a number of destinations within Nigeria as well as possible international destinations in the future. Rano Air's main focus is to offer world-class aviation services, great customer relations, and easy and quick online services whilst also complying with departure/arrival times and safety regulations. Rano Air has begun its operations domestically to/from, Lagos, Kano, Abuja, Kaduna, Sokoto and Maiduguri.

In January 2022, Rano Air re-applied for an air transport licence, after the initial application in mid-2020 to handle scheduled and non-scheduled passenger and cargo flights within and outside of Nigeria.

Baggage Policy

Rano Air allows their customers 10kg of free checked baggage. There will be excess baggage charges that the airline will require if you exceed this free 10kg allowance.

Passengers are allowed up to 15kg of single luggage in Economy, and infants have no baggage allowance.

Each passenger is limited to one piece of hand luggage, which can't exceed 7kg or the dimensions 15cm x 37cm x25cm. A carry-on purse/handbag or laptop can be bought on in addition.

Rano Air requires bags to be locked or key sealed, as they take no responsibility to missing items in checked baggage if it is not sealed or locked.

Check-In

Rano Air passengers must check in at the airport since the airline doesn't offer online check in.

Online Check-in

The airline does not provide online check it, so passengers will need to ensure they arrive at the airport with plenty of time to spare.

Airport Check-in

Check-in starts 2 hours before your scheduled departure time, and will close 30 minutes before if flying domestically and 60 minutes if flying internationally.

To board the plane you must present valid government-issued identification both at the check-in counter and boarding gate.

Food and Drink

Rano Air hasn't announced the food it will be serving on board. However, many airlines offer a number of food and beverages that you can purchase on all flights longer than 1 hour. On future long-haul Rano Air flights, the airline will provide you with a least 1 meal that will be included in your flight price.

If you have any special dietary requirements then you must contact the airline at least 24 hours before your flight.
