About Princess Juliana International Airport
Princess Juliana International Airport (IATA: SXM) is the main airport located on the Caribbean island of Saint Martin and manages more than 1.8 million passengers each year. The airport opened in 1943 and serves cities within the United States, Caribbean and Europe.
The airport is a hub for the airline Winair. The airport is known for its very low-altitude flyover landing approaches, this is from one end of its runway being very close to the shore and Maho Beach.
