SOL Líneas Aéreas is a regional airline operating from its home base in Rosario, Argentina (Islas Malvinas International Airport - named in recognition of the Argentine claim to sovereignty of the islands called the Falklands by the British) with a fleet of five Saab 340 turboprop aircraft. Launched in 2005 with the assistance of the regonal Government, in 2015 SOL now operates to 12 destinations including Rosario, Buenoa Aires, Sante Fe, Merlo, San Luis, Villa Mercedes, Punta Del Este, Villa Gesell, Mar del Plata, Bahia Blanca, Trelewand Comodoro Rivadavia. SOL Lineas Aereas has a secondary hub at the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires.
