Seair Seaplanes is a scheduled and charter airline based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. It is a seaplane operator, with all its aircraft fitted with floats.
Seair Seaplanes was founded in 1980 by Peter Clarke, after he acquired his first plane, a Cessna 185, and began the business by operating flying charters to lodges and backcountry fishing spots. With its charter operations thriving, the company launched scheduled services to the Gulf Islands and to Nanaimo. Today, Seair Seaplanes has the world’s largest fleet of new Cessna 208 Caravan turboprop passenger planes on floats.
Seair Seaplanes' main base is at the Vancouver International Seaplane Base, which is located near Vancouver International Airport on the Fraser River.

Baggage Policy
Each passenger has 35lbs (16kg) of complementary baggage allowance, on all scheduled routes. This allowance includes all carry-on and checked baggage. The baggage will be arranged so that it is safe to fly. For passengers with the Premium Flight Fare the total baggage allowance (checked and carry-on) is 50lbs.
Cabin Classes
On board the plane, passengers can free wifi, coffee, tea, newspapers, and magazines. During the flight, passengers will also be treated to incredible views of the scenery below.
Ticket Fares
Although the onboard experience will be the same, the airline does offer different ticket fares, which determine factors such as whether the tickets are refundable, as well as the baggage allowance.
Standard: Refundable/changeable up to 3 hours prior to departure.
Premium: Refundable/changeable up to 1 hour prior to departure, additional baggage allowance and longer free parking is included.
Additional options: Last Minute Web Fares, Online Booking Fares, Student Fares, and Senior Fares.

Seair Seaplanes passengers must check in at the airport.

Airport Check-in
Check-in is recommended 30 minutes prior to the flight departure time. Boarding will commence 10 minutes prior to flight time.

Special Services
Travelling With a Pet
If you wish to bring your pet with you on board, then it must be in a hard shell travel case. Unaccompanied pets will be charged as cargo baggage as they will be safely stored in the cargo area. You must contact Seair's customer service prior to your flight if you wish to bring your pet on the flight. Please note that Seair won't be responsible in the event of any injury of any pet during the transportation process.
