Pelita Air Service, also known as Pelita Air and PAS, is a domestic airline based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Pelita Air Service began over 50 years ago in 1970 operating to over 10 domestic destinantions. Pelita Air has been listed in category 1 by the Indonesian Civil Aviation Authority for it's airline safety quality. It's main hub is based in Pondok Cabe Airport and it's secondary hub is in Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport.
Pelita Air aims to be the most trusted avaition provider in the region by providing the most efficient and safety avaition services. It core values include, Trust & Teamwork, Clean, Safety and Commericial. The airline is owned by PT Pertamina, which is an oil and natrual gas company owned by the Indonesian government.
In 2000, Pelita Air Service scheduled flight services under 'Pelita AirVenture' however in 2005, due to tough competition, they decided to close. In 2016, Pelita Air was providing transportation services fuel oil and in 2020, they started providing general cargo transportation services. Pelita Air Services has 10x Airbus A230 on order, as they want to start operating passenger flights again.

When booking your flight you can add extra checked baggage to your booking. Due to health and safety reasons, baggage weight cannot exceed 32kg. You may be requested to remove items from your checked baggage if its overweight, so pack carefully.

Online Check-In
You should aim to check-in online to ensure a quick and easy process at the airport. You can check-in online with Pelita Air Service from 48 hours too 30 minutes before your departure. Print out or save your boarding pass onto the 'mobile wallet' so you're ready to show it throughout the airport.
Airport Check-In
If you couldn't check-in online, you can check-in the at the airport. Pelita Air Service check-in desks generally open from 3 hours before your flight departure. Please note, you may be charged a small additional fee for checking in at the airport.

Pondok Cabe Airport
Pondok Cabe Airport is a combined civilian and military airport in Pondok Cabe, Pamulang, South Tangerang. This airport operates to Ciputat, Depok, and other parts of Depok and districts in the South of Jakarta. The airport is owned by the state oil company Pertamina and operated by Pelita Air service.
The airport has a runway with the length of 1,986 metres. Pondok Cabe Airport is only a hub for Pelita Cabe Airport however, EastIndo also flys to and from this airport.
Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport
Halim PerdanaKusuma Internattional Airport is a secondary hub for Pelita Air Service. The airport is based in East Jakarta. As well as operating commercial scheduled flights, the airport is also used for military, private and presidential purposes. In 2016, Halim Perdanakusuma Internattional Airport had about 5.6 million passengers.
The airport is relatively small as it only has one passenger terminal and is about 10,000 square metres. This terminal operates all departing and arriving flights. The airport also has a presidential terminal, the terminal is used by the President of the Republic of Indonesia and other VVIPs.
This airport is also a hub for Batik Air, Citilink and Susi Air.
