IBC Air is a commuter airline that has scheduled and charter flights flying out of its main hub bases, Miami International Airport (MIA) and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) in the states of Florida in the US. IBC Airways were founded in 1991 and started offering on-demand passenger services since 2005. The airline also operates on-demand cargo services to and around the Caribbean. IBC AIr previously had its head office in Building 101 Miami-Dade County in Greater Miami. The airline had also previously had flights to and from Leeward airfield (NBW) at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base.

IBC Airlines currently flies to 13 destinations domestically in the US within Florida as well as international destinations in cities such as the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, and Turk and Caicos Islands.

Overall, the airline has a fleet of 13 aircraft ranging from Embraers, Hawkers, and SAABs that can carry a total of 420 passengers at one time. The fleet previously consisted of 5 Fairchild aircraft.

Baggage Policy

IBC Airline baggage includes all bags, carry-ons, laptop bags, purses and other items. All baggage must be weighed.

Carry-on Baggage

Passengers are allowed to take carry-on bags measuring 36” length x 15” width x 15” height and weight of up to 10 kg. There will be additional charges for additional baggage or for bags that exceed the allowance.

Checked Baggage

Each passenger is permitted to take 23 kg for checked baggage. However, bags in excess of 23 kg will incur additional charges.

Cabin Classes

IBC Air mostly runs small flights and there's only one cabin in the cabin of the aircraft and that is the standard Economy class. Fly IBC Air and you can enjoy amenities such as the one free checked piece of baggage, refreshments, beverages and the option of choosing your seat.

Seats

Seats are positioned in a 1 x 2 formation depending on the aircraft, ensuring that each passenger will sit by either a window, aisle or both.

Online check-in before your flight isn't required when travelling by IBC Air.

Airport Check-in

When passengers arrive at the airport's terminal, they will need to showcase their boarding pass and the airline will then take care of their baggage. It would take a few minutes for you to get checked in. IBC Air recommends passengers to check-in 2 hours before their scheduled departure time. Checked baggage will be accepted up until 60 minutes prior to IBC airways flight scheduled departure and check-in closes 1 hour prior to departure. IBC Aircrew from there will be ready to help in the check-in and boarding process.
