Greater Bay Airlines is an airline based in Hong Kong.
The airline operates a low-cost business model and has its primary hub at Hong Kong International Airport, and has requested permission to operate flights from Hong Kong to mainland China, as well as to international destinations across Asia-Pacific, including Taiwan and Japan.
Greater Bay Airlines is being established by Bill Wong Cho-bau, an entrepreneur based in Hong Kong who is also the founder and chairman behind Donghai Airlines, another airline which primarily operates domestically within China, though it also flies to a few other countries in Asia.

Greater Bay Airlines has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage policy.

Which fare type a passenger is flying on, will impact their checked baggage allowance. The maximum total dimension for all passengers is 62 inches (158cm).
If you plan on taking 2 pieces of baggage on your journey, this is now possible at an additional price, on top of the standard baggage allowance which is included in your ticket.
Greater Bay Airlines only offers a standard Economy Class. They have a limited number of seats available with extra leg room.
Greater Bay Airlines does not offer online check-in, all passengers must check-in at the airport.

Greater Bay Airlines check-in counters open roughly 2.5 hours before departure time. In most instances it is recommended that passengers arrive as early as possible, usually about 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Greater Bay Airlines offers a variety of snacks and beverages in their on-flight menu. These include coffees and handcrafted beer.
Greater Bay Airlines are doing their best to minimise the risk of allergic reactions occurring onboard, however they advise all passengers with allergies to take necessary medical precautions. They recommend passengers notify their doctor before flying, and let the cabin crew aware once they have boarded the flight.
Greater Bay Airlines offers a variety of special services for certain needs.
It is advised that you consult your doctor or midwife before flying. In some cases it will be required to present a medical certificate at check-in, which has been issued within 7 days before travel, to prove that you're 'Fit-for-travel'. This will need to state your expected delivery date, and will be accepted in either a paper or e-certificate form. Information required on the medical certificate are:
Passengers which are over 28 weeks pregnant, you'll be required to provide a medical certificate. At 36 weeks, you will not be allowed to travel for a single pregnancy, and 32 weeks for a known multiple pregnancy.
You can not sit on a emergency exit seat, if you are pregnant.

A passenger is allowed to carry these items onboard if they do not break the requirements stated in their carry-on baggage policy and are able to fit in the overhead compartment. You can check it in for free at the counter or gate if the baby stroller is oversized.
An adult fare will need to be paid if you're travelling with children between 2 to 12 years old, and they must be accompanied by an adult, at least 18 years of age throughout the journey.
Passengers travelling with a child or infant will not be seated near an emergency exit.
Passengers between 12 and 18 can fly alone without an adult.
Mobility aids can be bought onboard free-of-charge, as long as they can be safely stowed in the cabin.
Greater Bay Airlines allows for mobility devices to be carried onboard free of charge, if they meet the required safety and security regulations. Passengers with vision, hearing or speech impairments can also receive special assistance:
If a passenger requires a wheelchair service, they should let Greater Bay Airlines know 48 hours before departure, and one of their attendants will assist them with the airport area and at the boarding gate or aircraft door.
A meet and assist service is available free of charge. An attendant will help from the check-in counter to the boarding gate, and once you have landed, from the arrival gate to arrival hall.
Guide Dogs/Assistance Dogs are allowed onboard the Greater Bay Airlines aircrafts. They will need to be made aware at least 48 hours before departure. They can only allow dogs in good health and condition. If this is something you are unsure about, we recommend contacting the airlines service centre.
No notice is needed when bringing hearing aids or other battery-powered assistive devices onboard. They can be used throughout the flight, if they fit the battery regulations and requirements. You will need to bring your own power source for this too.
If a passenger with a speech impairment requires assistance, they should contact the airlines service centre 48 hours before departure.
If a passenger with learning disabilities requires assistance, they should contact the airlines service centre 48 hours before departure.
You're required to travel with a personal assistant, if you require support onboard in situations such as feeding and moving around the cabin. A safety assistant will be needed, if you will require help in an evacuation. This person can be the same and at least 18 years of age.

Greater Bay Airlines' staff are not qualified to provide medical/health-related care, or give any medication to passengers. The airline does not accept passengers with medical conditions.
It is required that you travel with a personal and safety assistant, as mentioned above, who is above the age of 18 and can physically and mentally provide the required assistance to you.
If you need to bring medical equipment or medication on-flight please follow the correct guidelines for doing so.
The airline has applied to the Air Transport Licensing Authority for the rights to operate scheduled services to 104 cities.

Hong Kong International Airport Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is located on the island of Chek Lap Kok and is the main airport for Hong Kong.
As well as Cathay Pacific , the airport also serves as the main hub for Hong Kong Express Airways. Other airlines which use the airport include Air Astana, Air Seychelles, Bangkok Airways, Beijing Capital Airlines, British Airways, Air New Zealand, China Eastern Airlines, JetLite, Garuda Indonesia, PAL Express, and soon South Pacific Airlines.
