Copenhagen AirTaxi (otherwise known by its abbreviated name, CAT) was founded in 1961 and is an aviation company, based in Roskilde, Denmark. The company operates a successful flight school, as well as providing a range of other services, including airfield management and operating sightseeing tours and a major private air-taxi service across Denmark.
The airline also operates regular scheduled commercial passenger flights from Copenhagen Airport, Roskilde, to the Danish islands of Anholt and Læsø. It would also be operating flights on behalf of Airseven.
The company is based at Copenhagen Roskilde Airport (IATA: RKE), where it has extensive modern facilities, including its large flight school, which trains the next generation of professional pilots in Denmark, as well as a maintenance facility.
Copenhagen Air Taxi has a different baggage policy for carry-on and checked baggage.
The baggage allowance is inclusive of all personal possessions and bags.
The baggage allowance per passenger is 10 kg, and will be weighed and safely stowed by staff.
Excess baggage: Extra baggage may not be included unless there is space, and may need to be included on subsequent flights. This applies to strollers, pushchairs and child seats, which, for safety, can only be included if there is space.
If extra space allows, the excess baggage fees are as follows: over 10 kg is DKK 20 (1.34 Euros) + VAT, with a minimum VAT of DKK 100 (13.44 Euros).
On-board the plane, there is only one class available, with standard seating. The flights are short, between 35 and 75 minutes, during which passengers can enjoy fantastic views and a VIP style experience.
Although there is only one cabin class available on the plane, there are three ticket fares, which determine benefits such as whether the ticket is refundable or not, or whether changes can be made:
Flex: Tickets can be refunded or changed up to 24 hours before departure, with a fee of DKK 250 (33.60 Euros) a ticket.
Economy Flex: Tickets can be refunded or changed for a fee of DKK 250 (33.60 Euros) a ticket, up to 7 days before departure.
Economy: Tickets are non-refundable or non-refundable.

Copenhagen Roskilde Airport (IATA: RKE) is located 4 miles southeast of Roskilde, near the town Tune. Although the airport is fully equipped for commercial passenger flights, the majority of flights are taxi-flights and private charter, with regular flights to small domestic islands. As well as Copenhagen Air Taxi, the only other airline to use the airport is Starling Air, which provides scheduled flights to the following domestic destinations in Denmark: Ærø, Ringsted, Svendborg.
The airline owns a wide fleet of aircraft for its different services. However, scheduled passenger flights are operated by a 10-seat Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander, although this may be substituted with one of the company's 6-seat Partenavia P.68's.
The airline does not currently offer a frequent flyer program.
The airline is not currently part of an airline alliance program.
