Flight Search in Progress
Scanning the skies for available flights...
- Airlines will always try to sit children with their parents (subject to check-in)
- Some airlines will allow travel for unaccompanied minors. Please email us to check.
- The fare is based on the child's age on the date of travel.
- More detailed information can be found here Traveling with children
- Most airlines will let infants travel with their parent(s) for free. However some airlines will charge up to 10% of the adult ticket price. Click on 'Price Breakdown' to find out more.
- If you are pregnant, but due before the flight departure date, please contact us once your baby is born and has a name. We can then add him/her to your ticket.

Alternative Airlines Partners with Routehappy to Show In-Flight Amenities
Alternative Airlines now use Routehappy Amenities, which displays amenities and in-flight details when selecting and booking flights.
11th, December 2017
Alternative Airlines has partnered with Routehappy which operates a rich content platform for searching flights, to include integration of Universal Product Attributes (UPAs) through the Routehappy Hub API. The following amenities and in-flight entertainment information will now be displayed:
- Wi-Fi
- Entertainment
- Food (whether paid or unpaid)
- Electrical outputs
- Legroom size
- Seat layout
- Hand luggage and quantity
Routehappy developed the UPA, a standardised rich content format, to allow sales channels to display relevant information about in-flight products and services, including cabin tours and photos, videos and personalised descriptions.
This tool will help Alternative Airlines to describe their products in an easier and targeted way as well as provide a more informed shopping experience for travellers.
Another rich content format is UTA, a newer category, which transforms ATPCO and airline raw data into customer friendly information about airline fare restrictions and benefits, including baggage allowance, seat selection, boarding priority and other elements that may not appear in photo.
Soon to come to Alternative Airlines is the use of the UPA, involving the display of interior and exterior images of each airline that can be ticketed.
